According to Clarke University (2012) "A portfolio is a compilation of materials that exemplifies your beliefs, skills, qualifications, education, training, and experiences. It provides insight into your personality and work ethic. All in all, it is a representation of your professionalism."


A career portfolio should consist of:

1. Statement of originality
2. Work philosophy
3. Career goals
4. Resume
5. Skill areas
